See how our alerts on SPX performed in 2024
Here you can find a summary of the trades our service has alerted in the SPX cash product in 2024, as well as their resulting profit and how long the trade was at risk and open. These amounts are based on a single SPX contract (as we call it, a "one lot.") We look to enter new trades on a weekly basis, usually on a Monday, sometimes on a Tuesday, and rarely on other days when we consider macro events like Federal Reserve meeting days, unemployment, inflation, and other significant data releases, and other potentially market-moving events. We aren't scared of risk but we don't hate our money, either.
While we primarily traded the SPX cash product in 2024, we've begun alerting similar trades for E-mini and Micro E-mini S&P 500 futures options products as well as the XSP cash product which trades at one-tenth the size of the SPX cash product. The trades will perform comparably, just at their various orders of magnitude in both profits and margin required. But there is a selection available for almost all account sizes, and if you find yourself wanting more but aren't ready to step up to a larger product, you can simply add more contracts to your trade to scale up.
You will note some zeroes or small profits, mostly corresponding to trades that were open for a long time. These trades were at losses on or around the dates I would normally look to take profit. Through a comprehensive system of trade management and defensive moves, you'll see in each case we either eliminated the loss or exited at a small profit over time.
Obviously these are not guarantees of profits and I can’t guarantee you’d get the same fills I did at the same time I did, this isn’t advice, the usual disclaimers.
